EQUNI Team Meets in Groningen to Celebrate Progress and Plan Final Steps

As the EQUNI project nears its conclusion, the consortium gathered in the lively city of Groningen for a strategic meeting. Partners reflected on the project’s key achievements and aligned on the final steps to ensure a strong and impactful finish.

The team began by reviewing all completed activities and consolidating the outcomes. This process ensured that the project’s objectives are being met in a way that is both relevant and sustainable.

A highlight of the meeting was a test session of the EQUNI game, conducted with a group of local teachers from the University of Groningen. Their enthusiastic feedback confirmed the game’s strong potential to foster equity on university campuses and to support inclusive education practices.

Another important focus was the development of the EQUNI mobile application. Project members collaborated closely to finalize its structure and content. The app, which is set to launch soon, is designed to be a dynamic tool for personal development. It will help users build empathy, appreciate diverse perspectives, and actively challenge bias.

Preparations also began for the upcoming edition of the EQUNI Summer School, which will take place later this year in Faro. This event will bring together educators and students to explore the themes of inclusive education and emotional intelligence through engaging, hands-on activities.

The team continues its efforts and shared commitment for delivering lasting tools and resources for educators and learners alike.
